Elektroda Grafit RP

RP graphite electrode is used in ordinary power electric arc furnaces such as steelmaking, silicon smelting, and yellow phosphorus smelting. Made of petroleum coke and coal pitch as raw materials. It is characterized by low ash content, good electrical conductivity, high temperature resistance, and does not melt or deform under high temperatures. RP graphite electrode as a conductive material in arc metallurgical furnaces for smelting various non-ferrous and rare metals. It can be used at current densities exceeding 17A/cm2. Specifications and model diameters: 100mm-960mm.

RP Graphite electrode, mainly petroleum coke, needle coke as raw material, coal pitch as binder, calcination, ingredients, kneading, molding, baking, graphitization and mechanical processing.

The production cycle is about 45 days and RP graphite electrode is mainly used for smelting ordinary steel, silicon, and yellow phosphorus in electric arc furnace. It is used in electric arc furnace in the form of arc conductor of electricity to heat melting furnace charge.

It has high electrical conductivity, improved thermal shock performance, resistance to oxidation and corrosion, long life, ability to operate at high temperatures, and low environmental impact.

Industrial Uses of RP Graphite Eletrode

Regular power rp elektroda grafit are widely used for electric arc furnace (eaf) steelmaking production, metallurgical casting and other industries. They are utilized in electric arc furnaces, ladle furnaces, and Submerged arc furnace. Also include other melting processes where high-temperature environments and efficient electrical conductivity are essential.

It provides a conductive path for the current to pass through in the tungku busur listrik. It can also allows precise control of temperatures and electric currents needed for melting, refining, and alloying in smelting processes. Because of their uniform electrical conductivity and low thermal expansion make them suitable for electric arc furnace steelmaking process.

It is important to note that it is not suitable for use in ultra high power and high power electric arc furnaces. Different grade of graphite electrodes are suitable for different electric furnaces.
