Graphite Blocks for Casting

Graphite Blocks for Casting

Graphite Blocks for Casting

It is made of high-purity graphite, which is roasted at high temperature and graphitized. It has the characteristics of high temperature stability, thermal conductivity and chemical stability. Graphite blocks are mainly used for casting production of steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals.

Feature

The thermal conductivity of graphite blocks is much better than that of metal materials such as steel, and its thermal conductivity decreases as the temperature increases. They are used in castings to protect the cast metal from oxidation under high temperature conditions.

It has excellent processability, lubricity and mechanical strength. In high-temperature casting production, it has good chemical stability and does not react with acids, bases or other organic solvents.

They have good thermal shock resistance. When Graphite blocks for casting of cast iron or non-ferrous metals, the metal mold shell is not prone to cracks.

Application

In industrial production, graphite blocks can be used as lining materials for graphitization furnaces and metallurgical furnaces. It is also widely used in electronics, chemical industry, steel and other fields. Their main function is to withstand high temperature, high pressure, and corrosion resistance.
