Het helpt de effici\u00ebntie van het smelten van aluminium, dat veel elektriciteit verbruikt, te verbeteren. Het is dus het centrale deel van de kathodestructuur van de aluminium elektrolytische cel. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Het fungeert dus als een kathodegeleider in het productieproces van aluminiumelektrolyse.
