It is mostly of disc-type friction plate structure, which entire set of components weighs much less than traditional metal clutches. And it has extremely prominent comprehensive performance advantages.

Extremely excellent high-temperature thermal stability

It can maintain stable friction performance within working temperature ranges of several hundred to one thousand degrees Celsius.

The coefficient of friction fluctuates minimally

It is less likely to experience thermal degradation, warping deformation of the friction surface, etc. , ensuring continuous and reliable power transmission.

Strong chemical inertness

It is less susceptible to erosion by high-temperature lubricating oil and gas.

Low density

With the extremely low rotational inertia is, it makes the gearshift action response of the transmission system quick and crisp.

Controllable wear rate of the friction surface

Because of this, its service life is better than that of sintered metal clutches under intense and continuous working conditions.

Excellent heat conduction performance

It can quickly dissipate the large amount of friction heat generated at the instant of clutch engagement, which avoids local heat accumulation and component damage.

Stable and reliable torque-bearing capacity

It can quickly complete the engagement and disengagement actions of the clutch, which fully releasing the engine’s output performance.

With the ultra-low rotational inertia, it can significantly shorten the shifting time, which makes the power connection more crisp. Because of the excellent heat resistance, it can withstand the friction heat generated during continuous full-speed driving for multiple laps. So it effectively avoids the thermal degradation phenomenon, ensuring the stable power transmission of the entire system during long-distance races.

It has outstanding heat resistance and anti-decay characteristics, which can maintain a stable friction coefficient for a long time. So it can reduce the probability of clutch failure and the frequency of spare parts replacement during the race. And then effectively improving the overall reliability of the vehicle during long-distance high-speed operation.

You can use it for deep-modified competition vehicles like touring car races and professional drifting events. Their engine has been strengthened and upgraded, which results in high horsepower and aggressive output. Carbon carbon clutch can stably transfer large torque, less likely to degrade during intense driving with repeated semi-clutching and high-speed combination.

You can use it as clutch switching components for the power system of specialty aircraft. With the lightweight composite materials and stable high-temperature mechanical properties, it meets strict weight reduction requirements and high-temperature working environment.

You can also use it in some high-speed power test benches and specialty heavy-duty testing equipment. It has heat resistance and strong thermal stability, completing extreme high-temperature clutch test operations that conventional transmission components cannot undertake.

Carbon carbon clutch is a high-performance transmission clutch device, which uses the carbon fiber reinforced carbon matrix composite material as the core friction component.
